Karesuvanto (or Kaaresuvanto, in Northern Sámi Gárasavvon) is a village in Lapland on the both shores of Muonio River in the municipalities of Enontekiö (Finland) and Kiruna (Sweden). In Swedish its name is Karesuando. The Swedish side of the village is currently much more active. Most of the pictures of this photoset are hence from the Swedish village.
