Bus trip from Helsinki to St. Petersburg
The first etape of our Russian trip was made by bus from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. We negotiated the price to ten euros per head which is not much. It was about two o'clock in the afternoon when we started from Helsinki.
Apparently there was something suspicious in our cheap bus since we had a special examination in the Russian frontier station. That took several hours and we arrived in St. Petersburg only around nine or ten in the evening.
We didn't stay in St. Petersburg but went to nearby town of Kolpino » where we spent the night.
