Dilijan is often called as the Switzerland of Armenia. Unfortunately the weather was not at its best for watching sceneries. The city itself has some beautiful old houses which have been renovated.
It was not, however, a particularly interesting city for us. We visited the tourist office for a map and a few brochures, and for asking how to get to nearby monasteries.
We had met an Israeli couple on our way to Dilijan. We took a taxi together with them. The taxi took us first to Haghartsin monastery and from there to the village of Gosh where we spent the night. It was a gaz powered vehicle like many of the buses too.
