The blog is not updated anymore. New photosets are published at the Albums section of my travel photos site. Single images are added to Picture by picture photo pages.
Helsinki harbour railway
Railway track serving West and South Harbours of Helsinki was built in the end of 19th century. The part serving South Harbour was demolished already in the 1970s and 80s. Only a couple of years ago, the track serving Helsinki shipyard was removed.
At summer, 2008, the part from West Harbour to Merisatama (Sea Harbour) was cut off. The following photographs are from that section and taken just before the track was removed.
