Cruise ship waste management

Port of Helsinki arranged in May, 2009, visits to two cruise ships visiting Helsinki. On Friday, May 8th, a visit was made to GTS Celebrity Constellation. On Saturday, there was visit to a smaller vessel called Tahitian Princess.

Both visit dealt with environmental issues related to the cruise ships and with their waste management. Representing the local residents association (Muheira.fi), I participated in the visit made to the Constellation.
