Arrival to Lithuania

In Vilnius, too, it was late in the evening when we arrived. That didn't, however, bother Nora, our Hospitality Club host. She told us to find her from a bar in the old town and that was where we found her. We stayed there for a while before continuing to her place which was located just a short distance outside the city centre.

Road to Šiauliai

From Vilnius we drove to the Hill of Crosses which is located close to the city of Šiauliai. We had a brief stop on the way although I don't remember anymore why. Perhaps we bought something from a service station.

Hill of Crosses

Kryžių Kalnas, or Hill of Crosses, is located close to the Latvian border. It is one of the main sights in Lithuania and that was where we headed, too.
