Bratislava

In Bratislava we were accommodated by a Hospitality Club member in a suburb of the city. Our host had several other backpackers there, too. We left quite early in the morning to see the city centre in the daylight.

Highway E75

Leaving Bratislava was difficult as we accidentally took the highway leading to Brno. To get to the E75 to Žilina we had to return to the centre. We lost some time and once again we were a bit in a hurry.

Žilina

We arrived in Žilina in the afternoon. First it didn't look like a particularly beautiful city but as we had a small walk we found also a rather nice old town.
