Salybia church

The catholic church of the Carib Territory is called Sainte Marie de Caraïbes and located in the village of Salybia (or salibia). The current church was constructed in 1991. The main mural depicts the meeting of Columbus fleet and the Kalinago people in 1493.

Between church and the ocean, one can find the Kalinago cemetery. Next to it, there are ruins of the previous church, destroyed by a hurricane.
