Medieval Uppsala

Cathedral is the heart of Uppsala. In its surrounding, in the quartier of Fjärdingen, there is the medieval centre of Uppsala (not all the building are from the Middle Age, though). The medieval part of the city cannot be called 'Old Town' since there is even older Gamla Uppsala (dating from the Viking era) few kilometres away from the current city.
